Remote Data Processing Clerk

Granite State Manufacturing (GSM) is a small business contract manufacturer providing complete in-house capabilities, including machining, US Navy-certified welding, wiring, assembly, and testing. GSM-built equipment is on every US Navy submarine. From prototype to production runs, GSM has the technical depth, program management, and manufacturing expertise to deliver performance-critical solutions. GSM has 5-axis machining up to 33ft long or 82in diameter and welding up to 35,000lbs.

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Processing Clerk to join our Administrative team. This full-time, hourly role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a remote work environment and excel in handling data with precision and efficiency. As a key contributor to our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring that data is accurately processed and stored to support the smooth operation of the organization.

What You'll Do

• Accurately input and process large volumes of data while maintaining a high level of quality and confidentiality.
• Review and verify data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and promptly address any discrepancies.
• Organize and maintain digital files, databases, and records in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to retrieve or clarify necessary information to complete data processing tasks.
• Prepare regular reports and summaries of processed data to ensure efficient communication across departments.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to manage sensitive or confidential information securely.
• Continuously identify and recommend improvements to enhance data processing workflows and efficiencies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when working with large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setup while meeting deadlines and achieving objectives.
• Strong understanding of data entry software, spreadsheet tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), and database management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic administrative environment.
• Prior experience in data entry, clerical, or administrative roles is preferred but not required.
• A reliable internet connection and access to necessary remote work tools and equipment.
