We’re seeking a driven Senior Translation Project Manager (Sr. TSPM) who will be responsible for managing highly complex translation projects from inception to completion. The Sr. TSPM will work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure that all projects meet our high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.

Position Overview
We’re seeking a driven Senior Translation Project Manager (Sr. TSPM) who will be responsible for managing highly complex translation projects from inception to completion. The Sr. TSPM will work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure that all projects meet our high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of translation and localization projects
- Define project deliverables (i.e., implementation, deadlines, budget, quality, and project close, etc.) in accordance with client requirements
- Develop and execute project plans: identify and manage risks, define tasks, budget, timelines and resources
- Act as the Client Manager for all projects assigned by providing unparalleled client support to build long-term relationships and increased business
- Review and contribute to proposals and quotations for new business
- Organize and maintain project-related documentation
- Provide support and training to linguists on tools required to be used for projects assigned
- Manage linguists engaged by reviewing work quality and providing feedback to ensure Propio and client standards are met
- Identify the root cause of service failures; develop a clear recovery plan that satisfies the client; communicate status as appropriate to client and management
- Communicate effectively with team to share best practices, suggest improvements, or share feedback
- Provide reporting to clients on business intelligence, quality, and productivity to support client expectations
- Manage communications for support questions from clients, translators, and new business opportunities
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and work independently to problem-solve
- Utilize client specific tools, when necessary, per client project requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Preferred to work in Pacific Standard Time or Central Standard Time (US)
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), preferably in translation studies or linguistics or 4+ years of relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in translation and localization with demonstrated experience of leading complex projects
- Experience working with multimedia, software, or e-learning product localization preferred
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Required experience with CAT tools and Translation Management Systems (Phrase is preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, confident, and resilient
