What You'll Do

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a critical supporting role in planning, tracking, and delivering infrastructure, utility, IT, and security projects. You’ll help keep projects organized and moving forward — ensuring schedules, budgets, and documentation are accurate while supporting client and team needs. This role is a chance to gain broad exposure to complex projects and contribute directly to shaping essential infrastructure.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project managers and leadership in delivering client satisfaction and vendor coordination.
  • Assist with development of internal JDFS processes, procedures, and tools that enhance performance and culture.
  • Coordinate multiple action items & project activities, ensuring tasks, schedules, and deliverables stay on track.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and reports (schedules, budgets, status updates, WBS, etc.).
  • Coordinate meetings — including project kickoffs, reviews, and progress updates.
  • Ensure all work is properly documented to support compliance, safety, and quality standards.
  • Help identify project risks and issues; escalate to leadership with recommended solutions.
  • Support change management processes and maintain scope documentation.
  • Provide onboarding assistance for new staff and contribute ideas for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment.
  • Perform additional support functions and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Additional functions, responsibilities, and engagements as assigned.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of project coordination or related experience, ideally in utilities, construction, IT, or security sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Clear written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to company culture, teamwork, and career growth.
  • Minimum BS/BA or equivalent education & experience
  • PMP or other industry recognized organizational Certification

Capabilities

  • 3+ years of project coordination or related experience, ideally in utilities, construction, IT, or security sectors.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with commercial, utility clients, and/or public infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., CPUC, DOE, NERC/CIP).
  • Background in technology integration, construction management, or enterprise system deployment.
  • Speak Spanish, Japanese, Malay, Mandarin Chinese
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
