Job Summary

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating the success of our agile teams by fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business stakeholders, to support agile practices and ensure alignment with the company’s objectives. Your role will involve guiding teams in the application of Scrum principles, removing obstacles, and enabling continuous improvement in both processes and product outcomes. You will play a key role in nurturing a culture of transparency, accountability, and adaptability, helping teams deliver value effectively and enhancing the overall impact of our software.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Effectively allocate time and focus across key areas: dedicating 40% to AV Blueprint, 40% to Constant Connect, and 20% to internal operations, ensuring balanced attention and impact across these priorities.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders from each team to ensure consistent alignment of objectives, schedules, and deliverables across departments.
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with product owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Remove impediments to the team's progress, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of sprints.
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics (e.g., team velocity, sprint progress) to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration among team members.
  • Coach and mentor team members in SCRUM practices, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.
  • Proactively identify and communicate interdependencies between teams, ensuring they’re addressed early to avoid project delays.
  • Act as a bridge between the internal operations, service, Constant Connect, and IT teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, and shared goals.
  • Coordinate efforts across departments to minimize friction and streamline communication, especially on initiatives impacting multiple teams.
  • Effectively allocate time and focus across key areas: dedicating 40% to AV Blueprint, 40% to Constant Connect, and 20% to internal operations, ensuring balanced attention and impact across these priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with demonstrated technical knowledge and strong communication abilities to facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and support agile processes effectively.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
  • 3+ years of IT, Software Development, or related professional experience.
  • Familiarity and expertise with Agile principles and frameworks, including story writing and estimation, facilitation, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement (CI).
  • Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Experience working and proficiency in performing the role of Scrum Master.
  • Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development

Skills

  • Highly detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
  • Technical understanding of audiovisual systems design, installation, and configuration including both hardware and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking to ensure success of objectives, whether project, process, or personnel related.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment for this position is primarily remote, but the candidate must reside in the continental United States.

Our preference is to live near our Malvern, PA headquarters. Other location choices would be near a Cenero office: Lebanon, NJ; Columbia, MD; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX.

Compensation Transparency

The salary range for an Scrum Master can range from $87,750 per year to $95,500 per year.

The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range. Individual pay is determined by different factors, including work experience, geographic location, job-related skills, education level, position specific technical certifications, and additional trainings completed.

All health and wellness benefits will begin on Day 1 of employment. There is no mandatory 90-day waiting period.
