The Opportunity

The Vice President, Finance will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This executive role is responsible for overseeing all core finance functions while driving strategic initiatives that support growth and scalability. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen, serving as a trusted partner to the executive team, the Board, and external stakeholders.


This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive meaningful impact, shaping the finance function while supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight across all finance functions including accounting, treasury, tax and financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee treasury operations, cash flow management, and capital structure optimization.
  • Lead tax planning, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner with the executive team and Board of Directors to deliver actionable insights and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Manage investor relations, including communications with current and prospective investors.
  • Drive M&A activity, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
  • Lead strategic finance projects such as ERP implementation, process automation, and system enhancements to strengthen scalability and efficiency.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team that operates with excellence, collaboration, and accountability.


Qualifications

  • CPA designation or equivalent, with 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Previous experience in audit/ assurance would be a great asset.
  • Proven background leading accounting, financial reporting (IFRS), treasury, and tax functions.
  • Demonstrated experience in investor relations, M&A transactions, and strategic finance projects.
  • Strong track record of implementing financial systems, ERP platforms, and automation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with experience engaging at the Board and executive level.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, and innovative environment.
