Project Manager - Client Onboarding

Position Overview
We seek an experienced Project Manager to lead the seamless onboarding of new healthcare clients, including payers, health systems, and physician practices, onto our AI healthcare platform. This role requires strong healthcare technology implementation experience, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder implementations while ensuring successful handoffs to our Customer Success team. You'll be responsible for delivering on-time, on-budget implementations that exceed client expectations and set the foundation for long-term success.

You'll be responsible for delivering on-time, on-budget implementations that exceed client expectations and set the foundation for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation Management (60%)
- Lead end-to-end client onboarding projects from contract signature through successful go-live
- Develop comprehensive project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and success criteria
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, compliance, and client services
- Ensure the engineering team is completing technica integrations including with EHRs, data exchanges, and various APIs
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and security requirements are met throughout the implementation process
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding phase
- Facilitate regular project status meetings with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Manage expectations and communicate project progress, risks, and timeline adjustments
- Coordinate with business development teams for a smooth transition from sales to implementation
- Prepare comprehensive handoff documentation for the Customer Success team
- Continuously improve onboarding processes, tools, and methodologies
- Identify and mitigate project risks that could impact the timeline or client satisfaction
- Develop standardized onboarding frameworks for different client types (payers vs. providers)
- Create and maintain project documentation, templates, and best practices
- Track and report on key onboarding metrics, including time-to-value and client satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology projects
- Strong background in managing technical implementations in regulated industries
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- Technical aptitude for understanding complex integration requirements
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
- Healthcare-related project management experience
- Experience in enterprise software implementations
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, HITECH)
- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
- Understanding of clinical workflows, payer operations, and provider technology environments
- Experience with telehealth or AI/ML healthcare technology implementations
- Background working with seed/Series A stage companies
- Experience managing implementations for both enterprise and mid-market clients
- Previous experience in consulting or professional services
- Familiarity with regulated industry compliance and security requirements
