Description

We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune, with a strong background in Windows server and workstation management. This role will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our enterprise Windows environment, ensuring reliable operations and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Windows Infrastructure Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations.
  • Perform regular system updates, patch management, and performance monitoring.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services.

SCCM Administration

  • Deploy applications, updates, and operating systems using SCCM.
  • Create and manage collections, task sequences, compliance baselines, and reports.
  • Troubleshoot client and server-side SCCM issues.

Intune Administration

  • Configure and manage Intune policies for mobile devices, laptops, and desktops.
  • Implement device compliance, application deployment, and conditional access policies.
  • Support hybrid environments (co-management of SCCM and Intune) with remote workforce

Security & Compliance

  • Apply and enforce security policies across endpoints.
  • Monitor system health, logs, and alerts for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with audits and compliance initiatives.

Support & Collaboration

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows-related incidents and escalations.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and cloud teams to ensure system integration.
  • Document processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Windows Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with SCCM (deployment, patching, reporting, OSD).
  • Strong experience with Intune (policy management, application deployment, compliance).
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PKI.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hybrid SCCM/Intune co-management environments.
  • Familiarity with Azure AD and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Exposure to security frameworks (CIS benchmarks, NIST).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
