About Us
The Zynga Business Analytics team performs various roles within the wider Publishing organization. The team's main role involves Demand Planning and Revenue Forecasting, along with tasks such as Sales Analytics and Competitive Monitoring. As a part of this team, you will work cross-functionally with FP&A (both Zynga and T2 Corporate), studio game teams, data analytics/engineering, consumer insights, ad monetization, and marketing! This role reports directly to the Senior VP of Publishing (based in Los Angeles).
Responsibilities
The pay range for this position in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $107,100 and $150,000 per year.
The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $123,200 and $ 172,500 per year.
The pay range for this position in New jersey at the start of employment is expected to be between $107,100 and $150,000 per year.
The pay range for this position in New York at the start of employment is expected to be between $123,200 and $172,500 per year.
The pay range for this position in Illinois at the start of employment is expected to be between $107,100 and $150,000 per year.
However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Regular, full-time employees are also eligible for a range of benefits at the Company, including: medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage; 14 paid holidays per calendar year; paid vacation time per calendar year (ranging from 15 to 25 days) or eligibility to participate in the Company’s discretionary time off program; up to 10 paid sick days per calendar year; paid parental and compassionate leave; wellbeing programs for mental health and other wellness support; family planning support through Maven; commuter benefits; and reimbursements for fitness-related expenses.

About Us
The Zynga Business Analytics team performs various roles within the wider Publishing organization. Responsibilities
- Handle revenue forecasting for Zynga’s advertising and in-app purchase (IAP) revenue.
- Define and improve upon the process to prepare monthly revenue forecasts on both new and existing Zynga mobile & social games. Perform complex modeling that takes into metrics relevant for live service games (engagement & monetization) and ad platform partners.
- Track performance and forecasts against plan, generating reports on key risks and opportunities. Prepare regular dashboards for senior executives.
- Attend product review meetings to update forecasts based on the latest developments.
- Help the sales, marketing, finance, and studio teams by analyzing sales figures and proposing recommendations. Communicate effectively to provide clarity in methodology and results.
- Develop arguments and cases for new opportunities (e.g. to support the Business Development team).
- Ad-hoc analysis; presentations for earnings releases, PR, executive presentations, etc.
- Research Zynga’s competitors and other Ad driven companies, keeping up to date on recent trends and developments.
- Maintain outstanding reporting for the organization, employing the latest technology & tools.
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to automate & improve where possible.
- Sophisticated knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint required.
- 8+ years combined experience. Ideal candidate will have experience in a demand planning/business analytics role at either a gaming/digital company or in the advertising space.
- Other preferred experience includes an analytics or finance related job at a tech-focused company (e.g. mobile, gaming or web).
- SQL proficiency is helpful but not required.
- Passion for gaming and ad monetization.
