Here is how the GIS Analyst I/II/III role will impact our business:

They will perform technical, analytical and administrative work developing and maintaining the software related to the Midstream & Production ESRI Geographic Information System (GIS). Also, this individual will establish protocols for system access and data storage, meeting with users to get feedback on system performance, and making adjustments to software to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.

The GIS Analyst I/II/III responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research, evaluate and implement custom software solutions.
  • Devise and conduct advanced spatial analysis for end user applications.
  • Establish and conduct GIS Quality Control functions.
  • Meet with end user departments to understand user needs; using input from the users, evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the options available.
  • Provide user support for GIS web application.
  • Provides end user support for GIS Mobile application.
  • Provide GIS training, working with staff and vendors.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 0-3 years minimum of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the natural gas industry.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn oil & gas operations.
  • Knowledge of GIS web applications.
  • Knowledge of developing and maintaining topologies; data creation, editing, and migration.
  • Knowledge of spatial analysis, mapping, modeling, and/or reporting.

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.

Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
