A QE specialist on the quality engineering team is a team member seemingly present throughout the entire development lifecycle. From understanding the initial application’s design, identifying risk and creating test plans, executing the plans, then communicating bugs found, the QE specialist takes pride in ensuring quality is present in every application.

Responsibilities
- Participate in project grooming, testing, and retro agile ceremonies
- Ability to breakdown complex applications from a testing perspective
- Draft and execute manual exploratory charters and review results
- Provide detailed reports to project teams and management
- Report bugs and defects to the appropriate team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across many platforms and projects
- Coordinate testing performed by multiple resources
- 1-2 years of exposure to automated tests
- 4+ years of software testing experience
- 4+ years of creating test plans, exploratory testing charters
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent documentation (readable and excellent grammar)
- Exposure to CI/CD
- Agile Scrum/Kanban experience
- Experience executing automated tests
- Google Cloud Platform experience
- Big Query / Data Studio knowledge
