Our Opportunity


The Director of Institutional Sales will be responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with both institutional and mid-market ownership groups in the multifamily industry. This senior-level individual contributor role is focused exclusively on selling directly to owners, creating enterprise-wide partnerships that complement property management relationships managed by other Fetch sales team members. The ideal candidate will bring deep multifamily expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to navigate complex ownership structures to unlock large-scale portfolio opportunities.



What you'll do:


  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on institutional and mid-market ownership groups, with the goal of securing portfolio-wide partnerships.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within ownership organizations.
  • Partner with National Account Executives and Client Success Managers to ensure alignment between ownership-level and management-level sales efforts.
  • Collaborate internally with Marketing, Client Success, and Operations to tailor solutions for institutional clients and ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead high-impact presentations, proposals, and negotiations that address both financial and operational priorities of ownership groups.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity that affect institutional ownership strategies and investment priorities.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to sales leadership on pipeline activity, deal progression, and risks/opportunities within institutional accounts.
  • Represent Fetch at industry conferences, trade shows, and events where institutional ownership groups are key participants.



What you'll need:


  • Proven track record of selling into institutional ownership groups in multifamily or a closely related industry.
  • Deep knowledge of the multifamily landscape, including ownership structures, investment strategies, and operational challenges.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and consultative sales skills, with experience navigating complex decision-making processes.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with C-suite executives and ownership-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with institutional clients and attend industry events.
