Who We Are

At The Travel Corporation (TTC), we don’t just sell travel—we design life-changing experiences that connect people to the world and each other. With over a century of expertise, 70+ countries served, and an unmatched portfolio of award-winning brands, TTC leads the way in purpose-driven travel.

Perks

  • After your first year, you get an annual travel credit to travel on any one of our core travel brands.
  • You also get 2 weeks a year where you can work from anywhere in the world, your choice.
  • To grow – we offer a global training calendar, with a mix of virtual, in-person, and e-learning courses.
  • Giving back - we give you two paid workdays each year to volunteer to make a difference in causes that are close to your heart too. We believe that travel is a privilege, but with that privilege comes the responsibility; to ensure we have a positive impact on the places we go, the people we meet, and the wildlife we enjoy. We ensure that travel is a force for good and that we MAKE TRAVEL MATTER.

Position Summary

As a Sales Manager, you’ll be the face of our brands in your territory. Your mission: drive sales, nurture relationships with travel partners, and help advisors match their clients with unforgettable journeys. Whether it's an agent new to selling guided tours or a seasoned partner ready to grow, you’ll use a consultative sales approach to guide them to the right brand, unlock opportunities, and boost results.

This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to make travel dreams come true while growing your own career in a global, purpose-driven company. This role supports several of our powerhouse brands, including Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Brendan Vacations, and Contiki — each one offering unique journeys to suit every kind of explorer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build tailored sales and marketing strategies for key accounts, rooted in consultative selling
  • Strengthen trade relationships with regular check-ins, insights, and goal-oriented planning
  • Champion TTC’s Consultative Sales Process (CSP), progressing through our CSP accreditation
  • Use Salesforce to manage your territory, track interactions, and keep sales records up to date
  • Deliver impactful training sessions and webinars for travel advisors
  • Represent our brands at trade shows, consumer events, and during FAM trips
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities, including ITCs and key agencies for EPAs
  • Ensure our brochures and marketing assets are well-placed and up to date
  • Stay on top of competitor trends and bring strategic insights to the team
  • Own your territory budget, co-op marketing funds, and goodwill spending
  • Proactively pursue group bookings and manage the full sales cycle
  • You will be responsible for driving sales and supporting travel partners across Alberta, Saskatoon and Manitoba

You!

  • Experience in sales, customer service, or the travel industry (bonus if it’s all three!)
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills—you’re engaging, persuasive, and professional
  • Passion for building relationships and uncovering clients’ needs
  • Organized, driven, and results-oriented with a strategic mindset
  • Comfortable with tech: Microsoft Office, Salesforce/CRM, webinars, and digital tools
  • A love for travel and a desire to share that passion with others

Competencies

  • Strategic communicator who personalizes outreach and builds authentic connections across all levels
  • Impactful presenter who leverages storytelling, data, and brand values to drive engagement
  • Digitally fluent with the ability to adapt quickly to CRM tools, virtual training platforms, and hybrid selling environments
  • Customer-first mindset—focused on delivering tailored solutions that build loyalty and long-term value
  • Agile and resilient, able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced, evolving travel landscape
  • Data-aware seller, using insights to inform strategy, track ROI, and optimize performance
  • Collaborative and purpose-driven, aligned with our mission to make travel a force for good
  • Results-focused with a proactive approach to achieving growth targets and supporting partner success
  • Trusted advisor who communicates transparently and fosters long-term relationships
  • Calm under pressure, embracing change and challenges with creativity and confidence

The Extras

  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%, including evenings/weekends and occasional international trips
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for business travel
