Service Reliability Engineers (SRE II) troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve alarms, perform systems management, perform software deployments and migrations, and automate routine operational tasks with the end result being a more stable, reliable, and available environment for DataRobot customers. SRE II's play a key role in designing and modifying DataRobot tools and practices to provide observability and seamless scaling while proactively preventing failures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure the continuous operation of the production environment through maintenance activities and prompt reaction to alerts all
  • Ensuring we meet our agreed Service Level Agreements with customers
  • Work to deploy new features to Production environment


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Linux/UNIX (Ubuntu, RedHat, or similar)
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Ansible
  • MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Postgres, Redis
  • ELK, Clickhouse, Grafana, etc.
  • AWS or experience in GCP or Azure
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more languages: Python, Bash
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, SMTP, HTTP, DNS, load-balancers
  • Experience performing network and performance analysis, and investigating application/network issues using tools like netcat, fiddler and Wireshark
  • GitHub / Artifactory
  • Application Performance Monitoring principles


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in CS, MIS, or equivalent experience;
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with Linux/Unix systems fundamentals, monitoring, cloud services, networking, storage, database, and application knowledge;
  • Solid communications skills
