Description

The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that strategic initiatives and department projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in alignment with company goals. This person will work closely with the COO, department heads, and project stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, streamline cross-functional workflows, and ensure accountability across teams.

This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of strategic oversight and detailed project execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment and knows how to translate vision into structured, measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Own the planning, execution, and tracking of company-wide initiatives and cross-departmental projects.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Act as the central connector between departments to align priorities, remove bottlenecks, and optimize workflows.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects are adequately staffed and supported.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify process gaps, implement scalable systems, and establish project management best practices across the organization.
  • Strategic Execution: Translate COO and executive priorities into actionable project plans with clear deliverables, timelines, and accountability.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop dashboards, KPIs, and regular reporting mechanisms to monitor project progress and impact.
  • Problem Solving: Anticipate risks, proactively resolve issues, and keep stakeholders informed of adjustments and outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion efficiency, consistency, and scalability in all projects and operations.

  • At least 80% of projects meet agreed-upon deadlines and deliverables.
  • Identified and implemented 2+ process improvements that improve operational efficiency across departments.
  • Seen as the “go-to” operator who keeps Dietitian Live’s growth initiatives on track.
  • COO/CEO consistently report feeling “two steps ahead” in execution readiness.
  • Cross-departmental collaboration scores improve (as measured by leadership or employee feedback).
  • Demonstrates measurable impact on scaling efficiency (e.g., reduced handoff delays, faster initiative launches, clearer accountability across teams).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or a related leadership role—preferably within a high-growth start-up or healthcare/telehealth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-changing, high-growth environment.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification preferred.
