Our Team And What We'll Accomplish Together

We are the TAC Product Team, where our collective strength and diverse perspectives drive innovation and excellence. As our Group Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of the company's product strategy. You will lead a diverse team of product managers and product owners and work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product operations, user experience, marketing, sales and customer experience to ensure the successful delivery of products that meet customer needs and drive business objectives.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy

  • Conduct and guide the Product Management team on market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, leveraging insights to inform product decisions.
  • In depth knowledge of our competition; what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You also know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions.
  • Develop and communicate the company's product vision and strategy, aligning it with overall business goals.

Product Roadmap

  • Ensure seamless collaboration between Product Managers and Product Owners to have a clear communicated product roadmap
  • Drive the team to define and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities.
  • You will drive the overall product roadmap prioritization and ensure your respective Product Managers collect requirements from all areas of the business including our customers, but also have a strong view on prioritization to ensure we can deliver a product to the market in a timely manner

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers and product owners, providing guidance and support in setting priorities, making decisions, and resolving conflicts.
  • Focused on goals and how we achieve them.

P & L Ownership

  • For the products you are responsible for, drive a passion within the team to own the P & L and ensure we drive the revenue and adoption of our forecasts.
  • Responsible for the business case and Product KPI’s

Capital Governance

  • Work with Senior Product Managers to create the right business cases in collaboration with our sales and marketing partners.
  • Work with marketing on benchmark pricing.
  • Ownership of ensuring we are tracking towards our business cases.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product operations, user experience, marketing, sales and customer experience and foster relationships with those peers to support the product operating model

Drive best in class Go To Market

  • Articulate the strategies and programs that will generate awareness
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas

Performance Monitoring

  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track product performance against goals, making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and drive user engagement.

Stakeholder and Risk Management

  • Communicate product plans, progress, and challenges to key stakeholders, including executives, investors, and customers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact product delivery or performance, proactively addressing issues as they arise.

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product organization, seeking feedback and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 10 years of experience in product management, with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing products to market, preferably in Agronomy.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Great-to-haves

  • Direct experience in AgTech, FoodTech, or Agricultural Technology sectors with understanding of precision agriculture, IoT sensors, farm management systems, or supply chain technologies
  • Certification in Product Management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Product Management Professional) or Agile methodologies with demonstrated application in technology product development
  • Experience with B2B SaaS platforms serving enterprise customers in agriculture or consumer goods industries, including subscription-based business models
