Position Overview


Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is responsible for reviewing account reconciliations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.


The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to provide insightful analysis that supports management decision-making.



Responsibilities Include


  • Review and approve monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entry review and variance analysis.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors, or unusual transactions, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects, including system enhancements, process improvements, and financial modeling as required.



What We Look for in You


Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation (or CFE qualified and actively pursuing CPA designation).
  • 4–6 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, ideally in public accounting and/or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAGE Intacct preferred).
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience supporting internal/external audits.
  • Exposure to process improvements or system enhancements within finance teams.
