Insight Technology Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Logistician (Post Delivery Coordination) to provide critical support for the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Patrol Boat Acquisition Office (CG-9125) Fast Response Cutter (FRC) Project Resident Office in Lockport, Louisiana.
Please note: This position is contingent upon Insight Technology Solutions being awarded the applicable government contract.
- Responsibilities include management of all post-delivery administration functions, including coordination and organization of a central data repository by ship number for all warranty and outstanding predelivery discrepancies.
- Manage all Request for Deviation, Engineering Change Proposals, and Contract Change Reports, correspondence between KO and the contractor. Generate weekly reports on the status by ship number of all open/completed warranty and predelivery discrepancies.
- Manage Interim Contract Supply Support (ICSS) spare parts (administration, issuance, and recommended replenishment), tracking/reconciliation, administration and dispersal of all post-delivery property and equipment.
- Coordinate security efforts for prime contractor and sub-contractor’s access to FRC homeport and repair locations.
- Develop detailed warranty training materials for FRC crew members and associated support staffing.
- Update warranty information into data repository on a daily basis.
- Maintaining post-delivery support for field changes and modifications the position will include managing contractor service report files, processing official warranty correspondence, compiling pending Warranty Deficiency Support numbers per cutter and obtain clarifications and/or status from post-delivery support engineering personnel, as well as researching warranty items. In addition, process warranty status reports, back-up post-delivery files from data repository onto secured hard drive, and manage warranty department requisitions.
- Routine responsibilities include creating and processing all warranty letters for the Contracting Officer.
- Transfer relevant drawing and/or test procedure letters into secured hard drive, update pre-delivery discrepancies on warranty trackers with correction dates, and file discrepancy forms and service reports.
- Administrative duties also include support for post-delivery manager and on-site engineers (FRC homeports) and routinely updating warranty team calendar with FRC key repair events.
- Assemble FRC warranty training folders for Contracting Officer’s warranty training prior to cutter delivery.
