Head of Product & Operations? This could be your next big move.

Full-Time | Remote-Friendly | Core Hours: 09:00-17:00 EST

Our client, a US-based innovator in personalized children's books, is on a mission to put kids at the heart of their own stories. By blending the magic of human storytelling with the power of AI-driven personalization, they create unforgettable adventures where every child is the hero.

They're now looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to drive both the product roadmap and operational engine behind these experiences.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Operations: Oversee the end-to-end book production lifecycle, managing a remote team of virtual assistants to deliver personalized books efficiently and at scale.
  • Own the Product Roadmap: Identify and prioritize new story themes and features based on research, market trends, and user insights to maintain a strong product-market fit.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Create and maintain SOPs, training docs, and QA systems to ensure consistent, high-quality output throughout production.
  • Measure What Matters: Define, track, and improve key performance metrics like turnaround time and rework rates through dashboards and data insights.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, customer support, and marketing to streamline the customization experience and launch new product offerings.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, operations, or a related leadership role
  • Solid background managing e-commerce workflows or human-in-the-loop systems
  • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or other project management tools
  • Data-savvy with a knack for building and interpreting dashboards
  • Proven success leading remote teams and working cross-functionally
  • Passion for building magical, user-centric products in an iterative environment
  • Strong command of English (written & spoken).

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Experience in children's content, publishing, or digital storytelling
  • Exposure to AI-powered platforms or digital asset management tools
  • Hands-on involvement in market research and experimentation methods

Why join this team?

  • Help shape the future of personalized storytelling
  • Work in a creative, experimentation-driven culture
  • Lead from anywhere with a remote-friendly setup
  • Be part of a mission that brings joy to kids around the world
  • Enjoy autonomy, purpose, and a chance to make a real impact
