We are looking for a Document Control Specialist to join our team! In this role, you’ll manage, organize, and maintain our company’s documents, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations efficient and our records up-to-date.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all project documents by conducting regular audits and quality checks.
- Organize and maintain a filing system for easy retrieval of documents.
- Maintain and manage all documents and records related to construction projects, including contracts, correspondence, change orders, permits, drawings, and specifications.
- Distribute documents to the appropriate parties in a timely manner and follow up on any outstanding documentation.
- Act as the main point of contact for all document-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to identify and implement improvements to the document control process.
- Train and supervise junior document control staff as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry.
- Advanced knowledge of document control software and systems.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and delivering results.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
