Role Summary: NearSource is hiring for a 6-month, on-site administrative support role focused on office operations and facilities coordination. The selected candidate will support day-to-day tasks, including reception, meeting setups, event logistics, and facility upkeep within a professional office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine building maintenance oversight and ensure adherence to safety protocols in an office setting.
- Identify and address common facility issues to maintain a safe and operational workspace.
- Support event set-up and tear-down activities.
- Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repair services.
- Manage schedules for routine facility upkeep and maintenance activities.
- Maintain high organizational standards and attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with team members to ensure facility operations run smoothly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Education: High school diploma required; some post-secondary education preferred.
- Experience: 02 years of experience in facilities support, maintenance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in facilities management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach to work.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Reports directly to a supervisor or manager.
