Position Overview
Architech is seeking a forward-thinking, client-facing technical leader to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) team to serve as our VP, AI Solutions. This role is designed to accelerate deal velocity, elevate our technical credibility in-market, and position Architech as a strategic AI-first consultancy.
This leader will allocate their time across three key focus areas:
- 50% - Pre-Sales Solutioning & Client Advisory
Act as a trusted technical advisor to our clients throughout the sales cycle, helping to define strategic AI transformation opportunities, reduce decision risk, and guide solution architecture for enterprise clients.
- 30% - Technical Strategist & AI Evangelism
Drive Architech’s AI GTM strategy by staying ahead of emerging tools and trends, bringing back practical insights to embed into our offerings, and representing the brand across industry events, executive forums, and thought leadership platforms.
- 20% - Partnerships Capability Enablement
Develop a deep understanding of our partner-led service offerings and work closely with the Services teams to ensure delivery readiness. This includes driving structured upskilling, creating reusable solution frameworks, and establishing a continuous feedback loop to turn real-time client insights into ongoing improvements across our AI practice.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Solution & Client Advisory (50%)
- Partner with Architech’s Client Partners and Practice Area Leads to shape complex AI and application modernization engagements for our clients.
- Translate client business needs into clear, actionable AI solution architectures.
- Own the technical pre-sales process: discovery, solutioning, technical proposal presentations, and executive briefings.
- Act as a bridge between client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Innovation) and Architech’s Service teams to ensure seamless hand-off and delivery readiness.
2. Technical Strategist & AI Evangelism (30%)
- Continuously conduct deep research and evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms, and frameworks (e.g., GenAI APIs, LLM orchestration, vector databases, agent frameworks). Translate these insights into strategic solution accelerators and reusable IP that embed into Architech’s offerings, ensuring we remain at the forefront of AI consulting.
- Champion AI innovation across our GTM team, shaping value propositions and strategic messaging.
- Collaborate with the CCO to define and refine Architech’s AI GTM strategy, use case playbooks, and industry-specific solution patterns.
- Establish a continuous feedback loop with Services & CCO to ensure real-world learning informed solution enhancements, training priorities, and go-to-market refinement.
- Act as Architech’s AI ambassador in the market: deliver keynotes, participate in panels, host executive roundtables, and publish thought leadership content.
- Represent Architech in partner go-to-market motions, including MDF utilization, co-branded events, and field sales enablement with Azure, GCP, and emerging AI vendors.
3. Capability Enablement & Partnership Collaboration (20%)
- Advise on strategic technology partnerships, integrations, and co-innovation efforts with AI platforms, ML frameworks, and automation tools.
- Help define partnership solution standards and accelerators for reusable client-facing AI capabilities.
- Work closely with our Service leaders to design and implement upskilling programs focused on GenAI, LLMs, and AI application development.
Success Metrics
- Sales Acceleration: Number of opportunities supported, win rate on strategic AI deals, deal size and cycle time reduction.
- Thought Leadership: Market reach through content, events, and executive engagement.
- Partner Leverage: Co-sell pipeline contribution with our partnerships, MDF utilization, certifications influenced.
- Internal Readiness: Growth in internal AI certifications and team confidence in client-facing AI work.
What We’re Looking For:
- 12+ years of experience in technology consulting, pre-sales engineering, and AI solution architecture.
- Proven track record of driving revenue in a client-facing technical consulting role.
- Broad technical expertise across platforms, cloud (strong expertise within GCP solutions), data, security, and mobile technologies.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML/LLM technologies, cloud-native applications, and modern data architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence both executive and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge strategy and execution—equally effective in boardroom discussions and technical design sessions.
- Industry experience (preferred but not required) in financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and a demonstrated ability to adapt across other sectors.
- Prior experience working with or within consulting firms is an asset.
