About The Role

An emerging, fast-growing SaaS startup backed by top investors is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join its core engineering team. The company is focused on helping data teams optimize and manage their cloud data spend—solving one of the biggest pain points in modern data infrastructure.

This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where you'll be building meaningful features end-to-end alongside a lean team. The ideal candidate is product-minded, customer-obsessed, and comfortable owning everything from architecture to deployment.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll partner with a small team of engineers to:

  • Identify high-impact problems and prioritize features that deliver value fast
  • Take full ownership of projects—contributing to design, implementation, testing, and launch
  • Work directly with customers to gather feedback and shape solutions
  • Set a high standard for collaboration, documentation, and code quality
  • Iterate quickly, balancing pragmatic decisions with thoughtful technical depth

Examples Of What The Team Is Building

  • Cost management features like forecasts, anomaly detection, and allocations
  • Robust, reusable UI components for intuitive data exploration
  • Visualizations that reveal performance insights, query efficiency, and trends
  • Data pipelines and models to surface new optimization opportunities
  • Ongoing improvements to reliability, performance, and scalability

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Developing a deep understanding of the product and customers' pain points
  • Taking full ownership of feature delivery from conception to production
  • Producing high-quality work with attention to detail and speed
  • Communicating openly and collaborating closely with the team
  • Helping shape product direction and engineering culture

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Previous experience at a B2B SaaS startup (ideally
  • A product-centric mindset with strong instincts for user experience
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
  • Comfort working across the stack in a modern web and data toolset

  • Tech Stack

    • Frontend: TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS
    • Backend: Python, FastAPI
    • Infra/Data: Postgres, Snowflake, Terraform, GCP, dbt, Dagster
