As a Remote V&V Tester, you'll be responsible for ensuring that products -be they systems, software, hardware, or machines are both correctly built (verification) and meet user needs (validation). You'll design and run test plans across multiple layers (unit, integration, system, acceptance), document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve defects.
Verification ensures the product is built right (specifications met), while validation confirms the product meets actual user needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop test strategies, plans, and protocols to ensure comprehensive verification and validation coverage
Execute functional, integration, system-level, regression, smoke, performance, and acceptance testing
Document artifacts: test cases, results, traceability matrices, defect reports, validation summaries
Analyze test data and perform root cause analysis, collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot issues
Maintain and configure test environments, simulators, and tooling infrastructure
Participate in reviews and align test coverage with design and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (software/hardware), Computer Science, or related field
2+ years in V&V, QA, or testing roles within regulated or complex environments
Proficiency in test planning, execution, automation, and defect tracking
Familiar with methodologies and environments including Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC phases
