Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth for the organization through inbound and outbound modes of interaction. The specialist is responsible for using strong sales skills to deliver a proven sales method that uncovers customer needs, identifies gaps in coverage, recommends solutions to fully protect customers, all while building a case to positively influence the decision to purchase Allstate’s products. The specialists will be evaluated based on sales production, time management, quality of business produced, and strict adherence to company and industry rules, regulations, and processes that protect Allstate and its customers.

As an Inside Sales Agent working from home at Allstate, you’ll play a vital role in helping customers find the right protection for their needs while driving growth for the company. This role is focused on inbound customer interactions, where you’ll take the time to understand customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and make personalized recommendations that help protect what matters most.

What You'll Do:

  • Meet and Exceed Sales Goals: Deliver outstanding sales performance by building trust and confidence with customers, understanding their unique needs, and matching them to Allstate’s products and services.
  • Provide Expert Product Recommendations: Master our offerings to recommend coverage options and rates using Allstate’s tools and systems, ensuring each customer receives the best value and peace of mind.
  • Strengthen Customer Relationships: Take initiative to expand household coverage, increase retention, and ensure customers feel fully supported. You’ll use influential communication skills to nurture long-term relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate to Achieve Excellence: Work with your team and leadership to align with company growth strategies and set ambitious performance targets.
  • Stay Informed and Compliant: Attend ongoing training to stay up-to-date on products, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Your proactive approach to continuous improvement will be essential in a fast-paced environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience: 0-2 years in sales or customer service (preferred)
  • Licensing: Property & Casualty License preferred but not required; we support your journey to becoming licensed.
