The Content Operations Specialist position will report to our Head of Brand and Content.
As the Content Operations Specialist, you will:
- Lead end-to-end content publishing workflows, managing blog and webpage updates, coordinating cross-functional teams, and tracking key performance metrics like publishing velocity and content freshness.
- Oversee legal and compliance processes, serving as the primary point of contact for reviews, implementing required edits, and ensuring all content meets regulatory standards and disclosure requirements.
- Manage partner-facing marketing asset workflows, including submission, review, and revisions with bank partners—ensuring timely delivery and SLA adherence across collaborative stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain digital assets, optimizing Brandfolder and Google Drive systems for efficient retrieval, while supporting updates to web pages and landing content across digital channels.
- Track content performance and manage vendor operations, using data insights to improve workflows, while coordinating freelancers, processing invoices, and ensuring on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- 3+ years creating consumer content; 2+ years with web traffic metrics, HTML, and web publishing.
- Operationally excellent, process-driven, experienced in complex workflows, tight deadlines, and streamlining content ops via CMS (e.g., Storyblok), DAM, and legal/compliance.
- Collaborative, detail-oriented, skilled at cross-functional coordination (creative, legal, partner, freelance) for quality, compliant digital content.
- Data-informed, mission-aligned, optimizing publishing with web traffic metrics, passionate about education access through content.
- Willingness to travel to the Oakland office or SLC office depending on your location monthly to collaborate with other Earnies.
- Familiarity with Storyblok, Airtable, or similar content management and workflow tools.
- Experience collaborating with legal and compliance teams, particularly in regulated industries like financial services or education.
- This role will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Salt Lake City.
- While you’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, we also love to see our Earnies face-to-face! We ask you to join us at our Oakland or Salt Lake City office for 3 consecutive days a month for team collaboration and some fun. It's a chance to connect, share ideas, and maybe even grab some coffee together!
Pay Range
$100,000—$125,000 USD
