Biocogent is seeking a qualified and driven Sales Manager to lead business development and account management efforts in the Northeast and Southeast United States. Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth through effective territory management and strategic customer engagement.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Understand and clearly communicate the technical aspects and benefits of Biocogent’s products to a scientifically literate audience.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for entry and expansion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Marketing, and Operations to align customer needs with company capabilities and goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of sales or technical business experience in the sciences, personal care, or specialty chemicals industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to translate complex scientific concepts into compelling value propositions.
- Established relationships within the industry and a strong network of contacts in the target territories.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a passion for collaboration, mutual success, and continuous improvement.
