About The Role
The eLearning Developer / LMS Administrator will be a key member of Moncel's Courseware team, responsible for creating engaging online courses, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), and supporting the growth of our compliance training offerings in the food and hospitality industry.
This role involves developing interactive eLearning content, configuring and maintaining the LMS, and ensuring courses meet compliance standards across multiple markets (Canada, US, Australia). The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and technology, while working remotely with occasional in-person team meetings in Toronto, Canada.
By ensuring timely course updates and high-quality delivery, this role will directly contribute to Moncel’s mission of expanding its online training offerings and maintaining its industry leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and updating online courses using Storyline Articulate, including interactive activities, quizzes, and multimedia content.
- Configuring courses in Moodle LMS, including setting up enrollments, question banks, HTML enhancements, and managing user access.
- Conducting unit testing of course content to ensure technical accuracy and compliance before QA review.
- Uploading and managing content on Digital Ocean / AWS servers for secure and efficient delivery.
- Maintaining compliance standards across all courses, ensuring readiness for US, Canadian, and Australian market approvals.
- Collaborating across teams to meet project deadlines and support the launch of new courses and brands.
- Configuring product integrations with Magento, Shopify, Salesforce, and Formstack to support course delivery and enrollment.
- Creating short animations and recording text-to-speech files to enhance learner engagement and accessibility.
- Contributing to tech stack evaluation and process improvement initiatives to streamline course delivery.
- 5+ years experience with Storyline Articulate for eLearning course development.
- 5+ years experience with Moodle LMS, including course configuration, quizzes, and user management.
- Strong HTML skills for course customization and troubleshooting.
- Experience with text-to-speech tools (e.g., Murf) and animation software (e.g., Vyond).
- Proficiency in GSuite, Jira, and Confluence for collaboration and project management.
- Ability to perform thorough unit testing and maintain high attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and time management skills to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Magento, Shopify, Salesforce, and Formstack is an asset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in Storyline Articulate or Moodle (highly valued).
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development in eLearning and instructional design.
- Portfolio of previous eLearning work, showcasing interactive content and LMS projects.
