Your role and impact

As VP of Product, you'll shape the product strategy that drives Affinity's next phase of growth, leading our multi-product portfolio serving private capital firms as Affinity scales to adjacent markets and adds additional products on the path to $100M+ in ARR. Reporting to the CPO, you will oversee a team of 10+ in Product Management, Product Analytics, and Product Enablement. You will collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to build and deliver impactful, user-centered solutions that drive customer value and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership and Vision:

  • Develop, communicate, and champion a compelling long-term product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's mission and business goals. Use data, market insight, and customer feedback to inform decision-making and differentiated positioning in a competitive landscape.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing, diverse team of product managers and leaders. Foster a culture of collaboration, customer-centrism, and continuous learning. Guide and coach direct reports to ensure strong execution and professional growth.

Drive Execution and Product Delivery:

  • Own the product development lifecycle: from ideation to launch, scaling and iteration. Ensure agile, cross-functional teams efficiently deliver innovative, high-quality solutions on schedule that exceed customer expectations. Remove roadblocks and streamline processes for speed and scalability.

Customer and Market Focus

  • Champion the voice of the customer at all stages of product development. Deeply understand customer needs through direct engagement, market research, and analysis of user data. Transform these insights into actionable, customer-centric product requirements and features.

Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure product initiatives are aligned, well-communicated, and interconnected. Build bridges across teams and with executive leadership to drive organizational alignment and outcomes.

Metrics and Accountability:

  • Establish and track KPIs to evaluate product performance, adoption, and business value. Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and key insights to executive stakeholders and the company.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a VP of Product in a successful, best-in-class multi-product B2B SaaS company ($50M - $100M ARR).
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping complex, data-intensive products at scale.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, especially across Design and Engineering
  • Strong people leader with experience leading and growing high-performing product teams.
  • Analytical and user-centric mindset with a bias for action and outcomes.
  • Embodies a growth mindset, with comfort navigating ambiguity and a willingness to challenge assumptions.
  • Familiarity with financial services, private capital, or CRM industries is a plus.

Please note that the role compensation details below reflect the base salary only and do not include any equity or benefits. This represents the salary range that Affinity believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting, that it will pay for the posted job.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $290,000 to $350,000 CAD. Within the range, individual pay depends on various factors, including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
