What You'll Do:
- Be a Strategic Partner: Work side-by-side with operations and transportation leaders to analyze performance, identify cost drivers, and surface insights that improve efficiency and financial outcomes.
- Elevate Forecasting & Planning: Build and refine robust financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across functions.
- Improve the Metrics that Matter: Audit and enhance data sources, KPIs, and reporting tools to ensure we're measuring what drives the business forward.
- Deliver Clear, Actionable Analysis: Prepare high-impact reports that connect financial performance with operational levers—translating trends into next steps.
- Build Real-Time Visibility: Develop dashboards and tools that keep financial and operational performance at our fingertips.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Run ad hoc analysis and financial modeling to support business cases, investment decisions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate to Optimize Spend: Partner with cross-functional teams to align spending with strategic priorities, identify savings, and support smart growth.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA a strong plus).
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in operations, logistics, or a high-growth environment.
- Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Proficiency with financial and data tools—Excel, ERP systems, data visualization platforms (Netsuite, Hyperion, Power BI, or Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus).
- A curious, analytical mindset—you challenge assumptions, connect the dots, and spot what others miss.
- Strong communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts for stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization.
