Eaton’s Electrical Sector - Canada is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join the team in our Northern Ontario sales team. This position is based in Timmins, ON and offer benefits from day one. Candidates must reside within 80km of Timmons, ON. This is a remote role with approximately 50% travel.

What You’ll Do
In this role you will be is responsible to achieve assigned sales and order goals for Eaton products and services to customers in the Timmins and Northern Ontario. This requires finding sales opportunities, contacting potential customers, demonstrating the industrial product or service and closing the sale with the customer. This role maintains the industrial end user relationship directly while working with Eaton distributors and Engineering Consultants. Due to the geography, this role will also include supporting the construction, commercial and residential markets along with its customers and contractors. In conjunction with sales responsibilities, the Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for creating sales reports, maintaining files and reviewing competitor's products against Eaton’s new products to stay competitive.
Sales – Drive profitable growth for Eaton in the industrial sector by maintaining a healthy customer list of preferred accounts, on-going accounts and new accounts. Leverages existing resources to identify and execute new business opportunities. Implement sales plans and growth strategies, to achieve annual performance objectives. Prepare sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. Understand, and be responsive to, market conditions and competitive activities. Provide technical assistance to customers and channel. Maintain CRM database, provide input on monthly sales forecasts based on negotiation activity and customer/channel feedback.
Collaboration – Achieve team Orders and Sales goals. Maintain co-operative and credible working relationships with internal personnel, to consistently exceed customer expectations. Attend Eaton’s new product launches to be able to inform clients of latest innovations.
Customer Relationships – Cultivate customer, channel, relationships and attend customer entertaining events to build relationships with clients. Build relationships with external Eaton distributors. Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by managing customer’s expectations. Conduct product training to expand customer, consultant and channel knowledge. Develop bid strategies and quotations for customers using price and delivery guidelines, applying sound business decisions to enhance sales volume and margins. Identify customer needs and prepare value propositions to satisfy customer expectations.

Qualifications

- College Diploma or university degree or Red Seal electrician from accredited institution
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in electrical industry
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Candidates must reside within 80km of Timmins, ON to be considered.
- University Degree or College Diploma, related to technical field in Power and Control
- 5+ years of sales experience in electrical industry
- Specific Site Industrial Training and related Electrical and Safety Certifications
