About This Role
UHSM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will analyze large and complex datasets to uncover insights, build predictive models, and help drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

About This Role
UHSM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our team. As a key contributor, you will analyze large and complex datasets to uncover insights, build predictive models, and help drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for key teams across the organization.
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems (retention, revenue, program utilization, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, sales, marketing, etc.) to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
- Perform A/B testing and statistical analyses to support product and strategy development.
- Clean, preprocess, and validate data for modeling and analytics purposes.
- Develop repository of key dashboards for leadership and team leads to utilize as a source of truth.
- Develop and maintain reproducible code and documentation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning.
- Bachelor’s in Data Science , Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytical role; h ealthcare field experience is a plus .
- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (ex. scikit-learn or XGBoost ).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools Tableau and PowerB I .
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and ability to challenge the status quo.
