About The Role

Hi, I’m Purya, Co-Founder & CEO at MedMe Health.

At MedMe, we are passionate about empowering pharmacists to provide services beyond just prescribing for patients in the community. Our mission is to build an all-in-one cloud-based platform that empowers pharmacists to schedule, document, and manage clinical services at scale. We help pharmacies transform into community health hubs.

We are building software for an industry that has relied on pen and paper throughout its history. This is why crafting, building, and constantly improving the end-to-end customer experience is essential. It’s crucial that we listen deeply to the diverse needs of our pharmacies which could be located anywhere from dense urban jungles to small remote communities. We design and build for their needs to ultimately provide more proactive and sustainable care for the patients in their communities.

MedMe has the two largest pharmacy chains in Canada as clients; we are servicing over 4500 pharmacies, and we power over 14 million patient services. We played a critical role across the country throughout the pandemic in getting the larger population vaccinated, and are expanding internationally. Our investors include M12 (Microsoft’s Venture Fund), MaRS IAF, and Y-Combinator.

The Opportunity

  • Build new AI-powered products and services on top of the MedMe platform
  • Rapidly prototype, test, and launch experiences using no-code/low-code platforms
  • Work closely with pharmacy clients to gather feedback, understand workflows, and refine user-facing workflows and experiences
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to integrate AI-driven user interfaces into core MedMe services
  • Contribute to early architectural decisions, internal tooling, and automation where needed to support fast iteration
  • Communicate clearly and frequently with stakeholders, both internal and external

About You

  • You have strong engineering fundamentals and are confident building functional prototypes, even in new domains
  • You’re scrappy, resourceful, and fast at learning, you love diving into new tools and figuring things out quickly
  • You care deeply about user experience and want to build products that feel useful, intuitive, and human
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and excited about shaping new products from zero to one
  • You are proficient in English and can hold thoughtful, fluent conversations with customers to collect feedback and shape product direction
  • You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and bouncing ideas with teammates in product, design, and engineering
  • You have a growth mindset and actively look for ways to improve yourself, your team, and the product
  • You are an excellent communicator and can learn to design effective and efficient AI-powered workflows that replicate tasks traditionally handled by pharmacists
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, or working with APIs is a nice bonus, but not required
