Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure automation and scalability initiatives for a Fortune 500 product company. This role will focus on Python scripting, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD reliability within cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Drive deployment automation, CI/CD integration, and pipeline enhancements
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and orchestration
- Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS for high availability and security
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent environments across development and production
- Oversee source control workflows using Git and GitHub
- Implement monitoring and observability using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK
- Manage artifact and package repositories (e.g., Artifactory, NuGet, Conan)
- Support containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration via Jenkins
- Proficient in cloud platforms: Azure or AWS
- Strong experience with Python for scripting and automation
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
- Experience with Git/GitHub workflows
- Skilled in monitoring/logging tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK)
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
- Experience with artifact/package management tools like Artifactory, NuGet, or Conan
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
