VetsEZ is seeking a remote Automation Tester to be a part of a team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate will oversee the testing lifecycle for software solutions and will lead a team of testers to ensure that all software deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and performance.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and JIRA.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test cases and testing scenarios.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing across production and non-production environments.
- Identify, report, and track defects using clear documentation and reproducible steps.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless testing integration and continuous delivery.
- Perform manual testing when needed and validate code changes using GitHub workflows.
- Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging testing tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and ensure the success of the project.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, JIRA, Jenkins, and version control tools like GitHub.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java or Python, and working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal agencies.
- Experience in SAFe/Agile Software Development.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder and DevSecOps environment.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance.
