Position Summary

Summary
As the Behavioral Technician, College Success, you will provide individualized virtual support to college students through Child Mind Institute’s College Success Program. You will advise students manage academic demands, build executive functioning skills, and navigate personal challenges. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with clinical staff, participate in supervision and training, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.

This is a non-supervisory position.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position is based in a professional office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, operate standard office equipment (including computers, phones, copiers, and printers), perform repetitive tasks, and communicate effectively with others. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may also be required.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide one-on-one support to Child Mind Institute patients through the College Success Program, conducting bi-weekly virtual sessions.
- Support college students manage workloads, develop study schedules, advocate for their needs, and problem-solve challenges.
- Attend weekly group supervision to discuss patient progress and challenges.
- Participate in training sessions and a full-day student workshop in August.
- Collect and report patient data, maintaining accurate records in the electronic health system.
- Provide progress reports to parents and supervisors each semester.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned .
This is a non-supervisory position.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, human services or related field.
- Some experience working with patients specifically children and young adults.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle conflict and sensitive information with discretion.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to work collaboratively with families, clinicians, senior leadership, and staff.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and adapt to patient needs.
- Positive, energetic, and passionate about healthcare and the Child Mind Institute's mission.
