Position Overview
As a Data Insights Developer at SpryPoint, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data reporting solutions, leveraging tools such as Metabase. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability for reporting and analytics purposes. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our clients' operations.

This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our clients' operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to support reporting and analytics requirements
- Implement and manage reporting solutions using tools like Metabase, ensuring user-friendly dashboards and visualizations
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights through reports
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to prepare datasets for reporting purposes
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and reporting processes to ensure reliability and performance
- Work closely with team members to support data-driven decision-making initiatives
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering, reporting, and analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data management, database administration, or data analytics are a plus
- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, including database design, query optimization
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- Experience with data visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI
- Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Experience with Python programming language is preferred, and some understanding of API development is considered a bonus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
