Job Purpose


We are seeking a passionate and performance-driven Regional Manager – Onshore Canada to support and grow our student recruitment efforts for Oxford International Career Colleges and English Language Schools. This role focuses on managing and expanding our onshore recruitment network. This role places strong emphasis on working with agents representing the Indian subcontinent and South Asian communities in Canada, while also supporting broader markets.


As part of the Global Recruitment Team (GRT), the successful candidate will be responsible for executing a B2B recruitment model, maintaining existing agent relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, and supporting strategic growth across the North American region.



Key Responsibilities


  • Support and manage a portfolio of active onshore recruitment agents (RCICs, community advisors, and consultants), ensuring consistent communication, program updates, and relationship nurturing.
  • Proactively identify and onboard new agents across Canada and major provinces (ON, BC, AB, NS, etc.), with a primary focus on communities from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
  • Drive student recruitment through a B2B model for Oxford’s Career Colleges and English Language programs in Canada, contributing to overall North America growth targets.
  • Represent Oxford International at student fairs, networking events, and community seminars, often during evenings or weekends.
  • Liaise closely with the Associate Director – North America and work collaboratively with admissions, marketing, and operations to support agents and students throughout the enrollment journey.
  • Keep detailed records of agent interactions, leads, and conversion data in the CRM system; provide regular market feedback and activity reports.
  • Ensure agents maintain ethical recruitment practices and align with Oxford’s brand and policies.


Person Specifications


  • Significant experience in international student recruitment, agent management, business development, and event management.
  • Prior experience working in a similar role with post-secondary institutions in Canada, ideally within private colleges or ESL schools.
  • In depth knowledge of the onshore South Asian market and agency network.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and manage B2B relationships and maintain agent engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure, balance multiple priorities, and handling conflicts with professionalism.
  • Strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experienced in using CRM systems and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Knowledge of IRCC regulations and international student visa application processes.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Multilingual ability in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, or another South Asian language.
  • Familiarity with IRCC regulations and student visa application processes.
  • Prior experience promoting short-term programs, ESL, or vocational training in Canada.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.


Work Environment & Conditions


  • This role requires frequently travel within Canada
  • Flexible work hours are required, including availability during evening and weekends
