Position Objective
The Graphic Designer is a strategic role responsible for creating visually compelling and impactful designs that align with Better Health Group’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for translating complex medical information into visually appealing graphics that will play a vital role in delivering effective marketing materials and improving patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to conceptualize and create innovative designs for various marketing materials and campaigns
- Ensure all designs adhere to the medical group's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, and visual elements
- Design engaging digital assets, including videos for the website, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns
- Create print-ready designs for marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional materials
- Design visually appealing infographics and illustrations to convey complex medical information in a clear and accessible manner
- Assist in selecting and editing images for use in marketing materials to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall impact of the designs
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and projects
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectives
- Stay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure the medical group's designs are fresh, relevant, and cutting-edge
- Additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field preferred
- 2-3 years experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a healthcare or medical industry
- Proficiency in graphic design software, preferably in Canva, Google Design, and InDesign
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative design work, including both digital and print materials
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
- Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
- Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable communicating with senior-level leadership, providers, and health plans

- Must be results-oriented with a focus on quality execution and delivery
