Position Purpose
The Finance Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data across a portfolio of companies by recording, managing, and monitoring all financial transactions for our fiduciary contracts. This detail-oriented role includes forensic accounting, reconciliation, audit preparedness and financial reporting to safeguard the company's financial health and compliance with regulations.
The ideal candidate for this role will not only be able to perform financial analysis but also apply accounting practices.

Standard hours Monday-Friday, eight hours per day. This position is primarily remote and may require occasional travel. Candidate must be a resident of California for consideration.
Travel Requirements
Up to 5% local and domestic travel.
BASE PAY: $36/hour, approximately 20-25 hours/week. Schedule will need to be during business hours (8a-5p PDT).

How You Impact Success
- Financial Analysis. Provide comprehensive financial analysis, planning, and reporting support—including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance evaluation—to guide strategic decision-making, ensure compliance, and improve financial processes across the organization.
- Fiduciary Accounting. Manage and oversee trust assets and accounts by maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with legal and fiduciary requirements, and preparing detailed financial reports for stakeholders.
- Forensic Accounting. Conduct forensic financial investigations to identify discrepancies, detect fraud, reconstruct records, and support risk mitigation in collaboration with audit, compliance, and legal teams.
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience as an accounting analyst, full charge bookkeeper, staff accountant, or similar role.
- Proven operational and technical accounting skills including debits, credits and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is required.
- Advanced Excel is required.
- Proficiency in the following software: Adobe, Bill.com, Harvest, and Click-up is highly desired.
- CA residency is a must.
- Detail-oriented. Pays close attention to work product to avoid quantitative and formatting errors in work product.
- Time Management. Demonstrates accountability by providing timely responses to inquiries and completing deliverables on time.
