Mercuryo
Full time
Accounting and Finance
United States
Hiring from: United States
Hi! We’re Mercuryo, and we’re on a mission to redefine finance by blending the best of traditional banking with the innovations of decentralized finance (DeFi). We believe that everyone should have easy access to Web3 and traditional financial services — and we’re making that happen by building a robust platform that simplifies dealing with crypto and seamlessly integrates it into the broader financial ecosystem.

Since we launched in 2018, we’ve teamed up with Web3 top projects such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, Jupiter, 1inch, and PancakeSwap and 200+ others to power over 200 dynamic products. Our work also brings us into direct collaboration with major ecosystems such as Solana Labs, Consensys, and BNB Chain. We’re just getting started, and we want you to help us shape the future of money!

The Role

We’re seeking a Chief of Staff to join our US team, reporting directly to the Head of US. As we launch and scale our business in the US, you’ll help drive key initiatives, create structure, and ensure seamless execution across projects.

This is an ideal role for someone who loves to build, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to have an outsized impact on a growing business. Whether your background is in strategy, operations, consulting, finance, or product, we’re open to diverse experiences and perspectives.

Your Role

  • Manage reporting, follow-up, and operational processes for all US initiatives to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Own end-to-end execution of several high-impact, company-wide initiatives in the US market.
  • Design and implement structures and processes for alignment, updates, and communication across teams working on US priorities.
  • Create frameworks that tie projects and processes directly to data-driven metrics and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of major policy decisions related to US market strategy.
  • Prepare materials and insights for leadership, board meetings, and external partners.
  • Facilitate internal and external stakeholder alignment to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Analyze business data to inform decision-making, identify risks and opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify operational gaps or bottlenecks and drive solutions.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between US and global teams.
  • Jump in to tackle special projects as they arise in this dynamic, high-growth environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years in management consulting or investment banking OR 2+ years in business operations, strategy, product management, or working in high-growth startups, preferably in tech or crypto.
  • Highly data-driven, with a strong track record of using quantitative analysis to inform decisions, identify opportunities, and measure success.
  • Skilled at associating operational structures and projects back to clear, data-driven business metrics and KPIs.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experienced in managing complex projects from planning through execution, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable creating and running processes to bring clarity and structure to fast-moving initiatives.
  • Adept at managing stakeholders and aligning diverse teams around shared goals.
  • Able to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution.
  • Energized by ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Curious about blockchain, crypto, or emerging technologies—or excited to learn quickly.
  • Passionate about contributing to a globally successful business as it scales in the US market.

What We Offer

  • Competitive market rate salary and performance-based incentives.
  • 22 days annual leave with an additional 6 company days, plus bank holidays.
  • Comprehensive health insurance plans.
  • Extensive benefits program.
  • Flexible work schedule and remote work options.
  • Modern offices and co-working spaces across 6 countries.
  • Working equipment.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Opportunity to shape the initiatives you’re working on.
  • Diverse and friendly team.
  • We are open-minded to new ideas.
