About The Role

The QA Specialist will be an integral member of Moncel's PMO team, responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our products, marketing initiatives, and technology platforms. Although a member of the PMO team, this individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, courseware, marketing, and technology.

This role involves developing comprehensive test strategies, executing test cases, managing the defect lifecycle, and maintaining high standards of quality across a diverse set of platforms, products, and workflows.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans for projects
  • Developing and executing detailed test cases across functional and nonfunctional requirements
  • Managing the full defect lifecycle, including root cause analysis and resolution coordination
  • Setting up, maintaining, and managing test environments that simulate production settings
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate QA processes into the project lifecycle
  • Introducing and maintaining test automation tools and scripts to optimize testing efficiency
  • Participating in continuous learning and sharing new trends and techniques with the QA and PMO teams
  • Producing clear, actionable QA documentation and test reports to inform stakeholders
  • Leading process improvement initiatives that enhance overall quality and reduce technical debt

What You Have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance
  • Deep knowledge of various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, smoke, integration, performance)
  • Proficiency in test strategy development and execution
  • Strong skills in defect management and root cause analysis
  • Experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Understanding of web and mobile technologies, and experience with cross-browser/device testing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTP, CSQA) (Optional but Advantageous)
  • Experience in Agile and Scrum environments
  • Experience with Moncel’s systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Moodle, and Magento is a plus
