About Kindred Bravely

Kindred Bravely exists to make early motherhood feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more supported. Trusted by millions of moms since 2015, Kindred Bravely thoughtfully designs award-winning maternity, postpartum, breastfeeding, and baby essentials that offer unparalleled comfort and intuitive function, allowing moms to feel supported, empowered, and more like themselves.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced, responsible, and creatively driven Social Media Specialist to take full ownership of our organic social media channels. This is a hands-on, solo role responsible for content planning, creation, posting, community engagement, and reporting. You'll collaborate closely with the Brand Engagement Manager and Sr. Director of Marketing for strategic input but will be fully responsible for executing the day-to-day social presence of the brand.

As the face of Kindred Bravely on social media, you’ll need to stay on top of emerging trends, be attuned to cultural and social issues, and maintain a warm, inclusive, and brand-aligned voice that resonates with our audience of moms.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Own and manage the social content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Write engaging, on-brand copy for posts, reels, stories, and community interactions.
  • Create visually appealing content using tools like Canva, and collaborate with the Creative Team as needed.
  • Produce and edit short-form video content, including Instagram Reels and TikToks.
  • Schedule and publish all social media content using a scheduling tool (e.g. Later, Sprout).
  • Monitor trends, social issues, and platform updates - proactively applying insights to content.
  • Be the voice of the brand on social: respond to comments and DMs with empathy, professionalism, and a personal touch.
  • Track performance metrics and compile regular reports, using insights to optimize future content and campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally with the Brand, Creative, and Customer Experience teams to align social strategy with broader initiatives and launches.

We are looking for someone who is…

  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and can manage multiple platforms and tasks independently.
  • Deeply immersed in social and cultural trends, with an eye for what’s relevant and resonant for our mom-focused community.
  • A creative thinker and doer with a strong aesthetic sense and ability to translate ideas into engaging content.
  • A strong communicator, both in writing and visually - with fluency in brand voice, tone, and storytelling.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to maintain consistency and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable being the face of the brand on video when needed, and representing our values with professionalism, empathy, and thoughtfulness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in social media content creation and management, ideally in a consumer or eCommerce setting.
  • Proficiency in Canva and basic video editing software (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, etc.).
  • Experience with social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, or Sprout Social.
  • Experience analyzing social media metrics and reporting on performance.
  • Bonus: Experience working with influencers, user-generated content, or building engaged social communities.

Why Join Kindred Bravely?

  • Be part of a mission-driven company that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of moms.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Fully remote team with a collaborative work environment.

Benefits:

  • Employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision as well as voluntary benefits including life Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and Healthcare and Dependent Care FSAs.
  • 4% Retirement matching after 6 months of employment.
  • Paid parental leave program after 1 year.
  • Monthly "Random Act of Generosity".
  • 40% off product discounts on the Kindred Bravely website and 15% off for friends and family!
