Logistics Specialist

What You'll Do

• Lead optimization of 3PL operations to ensure compliance to key performance indicators (KPIs) that will measure supply chain efficiency, cost, and timeliness.
• Generate detailed reports to monitor supply chain performance and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products from suppliers to the distribution center, preventing delays.
• Oversee procurement of packaging materials, postage, freight and 3PL operations, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery to avoid disruptions in the supply chain.
• Ensure accurate processing of logistics invoices by reconciling accounts payable, matching purchase orders with invoices, and resolving any discrepancies with logistics vendors.
  
  

You Should Have

• At least 2 year of experience in Supply Chain or a similar field. Hands-on experience working in a distribution center, warehouse, or in-plant operations is required.
• Candidates must have worked on-site and been directly involved in warehouse or plant activities.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Candidates must be based in Mexico or Central America in order to be considered for this position. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to consider candidates based in other countries.
• Visa to travel to the US.
• Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and vendors, explaining complex data insights.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges before they arise, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• A willingness to expand your skills and knowledge, with enthusiasm for learning new technologies and supply chain practices to contribute to the team's success.
