Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for full cycle HR tactics while supporting company goals and employee relations.

Schedule: Covering approximately 8am-5pm PST, Monday - Friday

Location: Remote Position working during Pacific Time. Additionally, there is the potential for travel to New York City for team meetings approximately one to two times a year.

Essential Functions:

  • Support managers and employees as their general point of contact on all matters including but not limited to:
  • General benefits knowledge
  • Employee relations full-service support including being present for and/or conducting disciplinary conversations, investigations, and terminations as needed
  • HRIS support and information management
  • Compliance related activities such as ensuring ongoing regulations and certifications are met
  • Recruitment support when needed
  • Coordination of any employee leaves in conjunction with HR leaders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation and company policies
  • Staying aware of any employment and case law that may directly impact the regional supported
  • Provide high-level customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Regularly review compensation to ensure FLSA compliance
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Review and create internal policies and procedures to ensure smooth and thorough best practices
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
  • Assisting with other HR projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years’ experience in the Human Resources field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Associate/Junior Generalist or Generalist required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Healthcare recruitment experience highly preferred.
  • Experience using HRIS system required, Workday preferred.
  • Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Workday preferred.
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Exude excellent employee and candidate relationship building skills.
  • Must be agile, fast-paced, and innovative.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Salary Pay Range

$60,000—$70,000 USD
