Summary Of Position
The Recruiter will be responsible for the end-to-end full cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of healthcare roles. This portfolio will encompass a heavy focus on recruiting for clinical healthcare roles (Physicians, Psychologists, Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, etc.), as well as corporate roles on occasion. This includes sourcing talent, leading headhunting in the market, leveraging multiple sourcing channels, interviewing candidates, generating and negotiating offers, and also ensuring that our candidates have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. You will work closely with the team to ensure our new hires are smoothly onboarded, including physician credentialing.
You will be responsible to strategically generate and leverage multiple sourcing avenues to ensure that we are continually attracting top talent in the market. You will also closely collaborate with the key business stakeholders to execute forward thinking Talent Acquisition strategies to ensure optimal alignment with our business priorities and growth; including talent pipeline management and partnership opportunities with campus recruitment/physician organizations/associations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify, source and engage candidates from a variety of clinical and corporate fields through creative and innovative sourcing approaches
- Review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting cycle (i.e. communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all follow-up efforts)
- Facilitate the hiring process, including but not limited to: negotiate and generate compensation packages, produce job offer letters, conduct background, reference verifications, as well as credentialing verifications for clinical roles
- Strategically identifying and leverage multiple sourcing avenues to ensure that we are continually attracting top talent in the market; including but not limited to direct headhunting, strategic sourcing, and optimizing job boards
- Create a robust talent pipeline (focused on clinical healthcare roles) and manage our partnership opportunities with campus recruitment/physician organizations/associations
- Continue to grow a far-reaching network of contacts, developing strong personal/professional relationships
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of staffing needs and the expertise required to succeed in various positions
- Expand and enhance the Teladoc Health Canada employer brand, as well as the visibility/reach of job posts and overall exposure to the market
- Monitor and report on TA metrics that illustrate the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts,
- Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates and reports
- Provide market research to support candidate and geographic profiling to guide recruiting, and maintain a deep understanding of the recruiting market and the recruiting life cycles
- Carry out Teladoc’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion as part of recruiting strategies
- Some travel as required to networking events and seminars

Qualifications Required For Position
- Completion of Post-Secondary education in Human Resources, Business degree or relevant field.
- Minimum of +5 years’ experience in leading end-to-end full cycle recruitment in the healthcare field; experience recruiting for Physicians is required
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems / HRIS systems (Workday) is a plus
- Bilingual in French is a plus
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment, using proven time management skills and working with a strong sense of urgency
- Superior relationship / stakeholder management skills and deep care about the candidate experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of self-sufficient, full life-cycle recruiting, including expertise with screening, negotiations/closing and candidate relationship management
- Creative and strategic approaches for finding and attracting top talent
- Proactive approach to networking and building relationships
- A strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
- High level of respect for and adherence to confidentiality rules
- A passion for teamwork, with a burning desire to contribute
