At Constellation Payment Processing, we’re building a modern Payment Facilitator (PayFac) that empowers Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to drive revenue through seamless, embedded payments. We partner with vertical SaaS businesses to integrate and optimize their payment stack, improving merchant experience, margin, and monetization. What is unique about our sales model is that we focus on businesses that our parent company owns.

We’re looking for a dynamic, self-starting Business Development Executive to spearhead our new ISV acquisition efforts. You’ll identify, qualify, and close new ISV partners that are ideal candidates for integrating with our PayFac infrastructure.

Your Role

As a Business Development Executive, your mission is to grow our partner base by identifying high-potential ISVs, building relationships with decision-makers, and driving deals close. You’ll act as a consultative partner, aligning our payments capabilities with ISV pain points and monetization strategies.

As this is a new role in our business, you will have input on operational workflows to optimize the acquisition of ISV partners. In addition to the businesses we own, you will work with our M&A teams to help underwrite ISV acquisitions with a payment thesis.

What You’ll Do

  • Hunt and Close New ISVs: Drive outbound efforts to identify, engage, and close ISV partnerships across target verticals.
  • Develop Vertical Insights: Tailor messaging and strategy using industry trends and market intelligence.
  • Build C-Level Relationships: Cultivate executive relationships to uncover strategic and technical alignment.
  • Presenting Data-Driven Models: Create and deliver financial models that highlight ROI and partnership value.
  • Develop Strategic Proposals: Collaborate cross-functionally to craft customized, compliant deal proposals.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Own the full sales process from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Support Integration Readiness: Ensure a smooth technical handoff by aligning with onboarding team post-close.
  • Represent at Events: Attend select trade shows, virtual events, and other networking opportunities to drive lead generation

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or SaaS sales (preferably to ISVs, fintechs, or vertical SaaS)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through new partner acquisition
  • Understanding of software monetization models and the economics of embedded payments
  • Ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a startup or scaling environment with evolving priorities
  • Strong presentation and proposal-building skills; ability to influence decision-making
  • Bonus: Experience selling payments or PayFac solutions into the ISV channel

What Success Looks Like

  • Signed and integrated 7 new ISV partners per year
  • Built and maintained a qualified pipeline worth 3–4x quota
  • Brought feedback from the field to help shape partner programs and product direction
  • Developed thought leadership or repeatable frameworks for ISV verticals
