Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data models, dashboards, and reports to support business analytics requirements.
  • Design and develop SQL queries, data pipelines, and data transformation processes to prepare data for analysis.
  • Create interactive and insightful dashboards using business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineering, business intelligence, marketing, and operations) to understand requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data processes for maximum performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and provide solutions to resolve data inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Analyze large datasets, generate insights, and provide recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in analytics and data visualization technologies.
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by business leaders.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics development, business intelligence, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (including complex queries, joins, and optimizations).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Strong understanding of databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (machine learning, predictive analytics).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.
  • Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
