Position Overview: The Implementation Coordinator is responsible for effectively administering Intrepid’s online benefits portals, Employee Navigator, Ease, and Rippling. The functions of this position include building enrollment portals for clients, participating in yearly renewal discussions, performing updates to the portal to successfully launch Open Enrollment, and assisting clients with troubleshooting of various issues.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, remote position that supports our office in Newport Beach, CA.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Intrepid’s Account Managers to collect essential client information and data required for developing a comprehensive client portal.
  • Build and maintain online portals, such as Employee Navigator, Ease, and Rippling, ensuring regular updates of details, rates, and documents.
  • Configure integrations with carriers, vendors, and payroll systems.
  • Create informative Benefit Guides to accompany the portal, outlining comprehensive plan options, enrollment instructions, and helpful insurance-related information.
  • Efficiently address client issues and troubleshoot portal-related problems, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Assist with general ACA reporting and promptly address system inquiries for effective troubleshooting.
  • Build annual plan libraries to ensure up-to-date and easily accessible information.
  • Prepare compliance documents and upload them to the portal.
  • Create application packets for clients who prefer offline enrollment processes.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience in technical support or administrative support function (Required)
  • Previous experience working with employee benefits software (Required)
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Experience in the employee benefits industry (Preferred)
  • Experience working with Employee Navigator or other related software (Preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or similar field (Preferred)
  • California Life and Health Insurance License (Preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and transparently.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
  • Display a high level of attention to detail when entering data and reviewing documents to avoid errors and ensure data integrity.
  • Provide empathetic and supportive assistance to clients and employees by being responsive to client needs and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Familiarity and proficiency in using relevant software applications, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools used for client management and communication.
  • Commitment to staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices through attending training programs, earning relevant certifications, and participating in industry conferences or webinars.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and client information.

Pay Range: $18 - $19 per hour depending on experience.

A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
