Auth0 is a rapidly growing product unit that secures millions of logins daily for customers worldwide. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Content Editorial Manager for the Auth0 Blog, a critical resource for developers learning about identity, access management, and cybersecurity. You will lead the entire editorial strategy, content planning, and execution of high-quality written content, overseeing its creation and strategic distribution across Auth0's owned (first-party) and relevant third-party channels. This role is key to defining and elevating the blog's voice, ensuring its quality, and driving its growth and influence for developers, including those interacting via AI agents.
Role Summary:
The Content Editorial Manager will be responsible for the overall editorial strategy, content planning, and execution of written content for the Auth0 Blog. This includes strategically driving the creation and distribution of content across Auth0's owned (first-party) channels and relevant third-party platforms. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, editorial expertise, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering developers, a knack for crafting compelling content, a passion for taking advantage of technology (AI) to accelerate the production of content and maximize its consumption, and a deep understanding of the developer audience. You will be responsible for shaping the voice of the Auth0 Blog, ensuring its content is of the highest quality, and driving its growth in terms of readership and influence.
What you’ll be doing:
Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
$132,000—$203,000 CAD

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead Editorial Strategy & Content Operations: Define the Auth0 Blog's editorial vision, align it with business goals, and manage the content calendar for a timely, high-quality flow of written materials. Strategize distribution across owned and third-party channels.
- Drive Expert Content Creation: Oversee the responsive production of diverse written formats (e.g., blog posts, tutorials, guides). Build and nurture a strong contributor network by partnering closely with internal partners (Product, Marketing, Developer Advocacy) and external thought leaders to consistently source and develop compelling content. Leverage AI for efficiency.
- Maximize Reach & Discoverability: Ensure content accuracy, clarity, and style adherence. Optimize for SEO, social media, and AI agents, adapting swiftly to maximize developer reach and discoverability.
- Leverage AI for Innovation: Proactively implement AI-powered tools for content analysis, topic generation, and assistance, boosting editorial efficiency and relevance. Adapt strategies to evolving AI interactions with technical content.
- Analyze Performance & Build Community: Review blog data to improve strategy. Stay current with rapidly changing trends in identity, access management, and cybersecurity. Foster an engaged community around the blog.
- Proven Content Leadership: Extensive experience managing and growing a technical written content platform (e.g., blog) in the developer or cybersecurity space.
- Deep Understanding of Developer Personas: Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and create content tailored to the specific needs, pain points, and technical contexts of various developer segments (e.g., frontend, backend, DevOps, security engineers).
- Deep Identity & Security Expertise: Strong understanding of Identity, Access Management (IAM), and cybersecurity concepts (e.g., auth, SSO, MFA, user management, security best practices).
- Exceptional Editorial & Writing Skills: Ability to refine complex technical information into clear, engaging, and practical written formats.
- Multi-Channel Strategy & Distribution: Experience optimizing and distributing written content across owned and third-party platforms, including building external relationships.
- SEO & AI Optimization: Proven ability to optimize written content for search engines and ensure its discoverability/interpretability by AI agents.
- AI Integration Experience: Familiarity or direct experience using AI tools for content analysis, topic identification, or generation.
- Data-Driven Approach: Experience analyzing content performance metrics to inform strategy.
- Community Engagement & Collaboration: Passion for fostering developer communities and strong ability to work with internal/external contributors.
- Demonstrated Impact: A portfolio showcasing significant, measurable growth (readership, engagement) of a technical written content platform.
- Proven Identity Communication Skills: Proven ability to translate complex identity and cybersecurity concepts into highly actionable and engaging narratives for diverse developer audiences.
- Advanced AI Content Experimentation: Hands-on experience with advanced AI content tools (e.g., fine-tuning LLMs, building custom prompts) to actively shape content creation and discoverability.
- Strong Personal Brand/Publications: Published technical articles or a strong personal brand within the developer community, specifically focused on identity or security.
- Content Localization Leadership: Experience in creating and executing global content localization strategies.
