BUSINESS ANALYST
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reports To: Product Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Analyst will play a vital role in driving data-informed decisions across the company. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to solve problems that impact both operations and business strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying challenges, analyzing data, proposing solutions, and building ongoing reporting to measure impact. Success in this role requires a mix of analytical skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze business data and processes to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities 
  • Develop reporting tools and dashboards to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions 
  • Identify operational or strategic problems and support company leadership in resolving them 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Operations, and Leadership to understand needs and deliver insights 
  • Assist in the implementation of process improvements or strategic recommendations 
  • Translate data findings into clear visualizations and summaries for stakeholders 
  • Support ad hoc data projects and contribute to the evolution of business metrics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to clearly communicate ideas through reports, dashboards, and presentations
    • Must be able to interact with team members at all levels and explain complex topics in a simple, structured way
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Curiosity and desire to understand how data drives decisions and strategy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Power BI or CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) experience
  • Internship experience, school projects, or prior work involving data analysis, business strategy, or reporting
JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role requires occasional travel up to 10% of the time for activities such as out-of-town meetings, training, or outreach activities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • This is a staff position.
  • This is an Exempt position.
  • This is a Full-Time position.
  • This is a Remote position with preference candidates in the Denver Metro Area.
  • The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • This role requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.
  • This role requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
  • Base pay is paid at an hourly rate/annual salary rate. The range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
